The emphasis is on trades. You may offer anything of value, describe it (including pictures if you wish), and indicate what you would prefer in trade, or an asking price if you prefer. Those responding can describe their offer, also with images. You may then correspond directly via email with the person making the offer you choose, to finalize the trade or sale.
You do not have to use your real name (a nickname or pseudonym will provide security and privacy) but you must post a valid email address or provide a telephone number to enable respondents to contact you. If you have concerns about giving out your email address, we recommend that you set up a separate email account strictly for trading purposes. That will protect your regular email account from spammers. A telephone contact may also be included in the Description/Information section, either in addition to or in place of an email address.
